There are two weeks left to enter your submission to the EOSIO Virtual Hackathon: Coding for Change. Submissions are due June 1 before 5pm EDT. (Find out what time that is in your city)
And if you've just recently joined the challenge, explore the Slack Channel, the Resources page, and your “to-do” list for more info to help you get started.
Run through this list before you submit:
- Does your submission adhere to the hackathon theme? Does it address the problems and societal changes faced by communities as a result of COVID-19?
- Are you submitting an application that uses the EOSIO platform and implements at least one EOSIO Smart Contract?
- Did you include a link to a code repository and anything required for testing, like required deployment files and instructions?
- Did you create a submission video? Does your video clearly demonstrate the functionality of the application? (See these video-making tips)
Be sure to read through the official rules more than once. Or better yet, have a friend or colleague provide a second pair of eyes to make sure you don’t miss anything.
If you have any questions about the hackathon, please post on the discussion forum.
