Many of you are probably working hard on your EOSIO Virtual Hackathon: Coding for Change projects and others may be feeling overwhelmed and not sure where to start. Lyle Davids, one of our Devpost community members, wrote the following tip that we hope will guide you in the right direction so you can focus on building a solution for a better, more resilient world.
To create a smart contract, one would assume that you will need a super-powerful computer, and this is not a luxury we all have.
Well, that is not the case anymore. With the EOSIO QuickStart Web IDE, you can get started in minutes only using your internet browser and without the need of setting up a development environment on your computer. You can find access to the Web IDE in this link and follow the steps in the setup section.
Do you have a tip you’d like to share with your fellow participants? Be sure to share it in the challenge Slack channel; we know they’ll appreciate it!
If you have any questions about the hackathon, please post on the discussion forum.
